Our Village Pinot Noir is bright, supple and wonderfully easy to enjoy, with fresh red cherry and raspberry like characters, a gentle fruit sweetness through the mid-palate, and fine acid and tannin bringing shape and lift.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blend from two neighbouring vineyards just 200 metres apart: one planted on Ordovician soils in the mid-1990s, that brings pretty aromatics and purity, and the other close-planted on volcanic soils in 2012, adding depth and quiet power.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMatured for 11 months in 500L puncheons, the final blend comes from select barrels of MV6 (82%), 777 (15%) and Pommard (3%), with 25% new French oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSustainably farmed and carefully made, this is a wine that speaks clearly of its home.
