Brown Magpie Modewarre Mud Shiraz is a single-vineyard Shiraz produced by Brown Magpie Wines from its estate vineyard at Modewarre in the Geelong region of Victoria, Australia. The cool maritime conditions of Geelong encourage slow, even ripening, producing a distinctive cool-climate expression of Shiraz with ripe fruit, savoury complexity and freshness.

The appearance is deep crimson to ruby red with vibrant purple hues.

The nose is expressive and savoury, with blackberry, dark cherry and plum complemented by cracked black pepper, dried herbs, spice and subtle earthy notes.

The palate is medium to full-bodied, combining dark berry and plum fruit with pepper, savoury spice and earthy complexity. Fine, structured tannins provide shape and texture, while fresh acidity keeps the wine lively and balanced through a persistent, savoury finish.
