Distilled in 1994, the year that the distillery closed for what could have been the final time, 7.1 has been matured entirely on Islay for 25 years in a diverse selection of casks, the exact composition of which is only known to Head Distiller, Adam Hannett. 

This is the third in the series to be created by Hannett. 8,500 individually numbered bottles have been produced. As always, the whisky is non chill filtered.
