Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Block E Pinot Noir 2024 is a single-block Pinot Noir from Coldstream Hills, sourced from Block E of the Deer Farm Vineyard in Gladysdale in Victoria's Yarra Valley, Australia. The vineyard was planted in 1994, with Block E sitting at approximately 280 metres elevation, and the 2024 release comes from an exceptional vintage with French oak and whole-bunch influence adding complexity.

Medium-bright crimson ruby in appearance with youthful clarity and vibrancy.

The nose is perfumed and ethereal, showing muddled strawberry, raspberry and cherry alongside brambly red fruit, dark rose and bergamot. Mineral graphite, subtle whole-bunch spice and finely integrated French oak add complexity and aromatic lift.

The palate is medium-bodied yet concentrated, with vibrant raspberry and glacé cherry layered over graphite minerality, sandalwood-like spice and seamless French oak. The fruit is beautifully defined, supported by persistent, silky tannins that provide structure without overwhelming the wine. Layered texture and excellent balance carry the flavours through a long, composed close.
