By Farr GC Chardonnay is produced by By Farr from the Côte Vineyard in the Moorabool Valley at Geelong, Victoria, Australia. GC stands for Gary Charles Farr and represents the estate's flagship expression of Chardonnay, sourced from high-density plantings on exposed slopes with complex volcanic, loam and limestone-influenced soils. The fruit is hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed before natural fermentation and maturation in French oak, producing a Chardonnay of concentration, texture and pronounced mineral character.

The appearance is bright straw to light gold with youthful clarity.

The nose is concentrated and refined, showing white peach, nectarine and citrus with hazelnut, subtle match-strike reduction, warm oak spice and mineral notes.

The palate is powerful yet precise, combining ripe stone fruit and citrus with firm natural acidity, fine oak integration and a layered, creamy texture. Saline and mineral elements provide tension and definition, carrying the concentrated fruit through an exceptionally persistent palate.
