Hennessy Library Tome Red Book Cognac is one of the rarest and most distinctive collector's releases ever produced by the House of Hennessy. Created as part of the exclusive Library Tome (Bibliothèque) series, it is presented in an exquisitely crafted faux leather-bound case designed to resemble an antique library volume, allowing the bottle to sit discreetly amongst treasured books while celebrating Hennessy's rich heritage and centuries of Cognac-making expertise.
Believed to have been released during the mid-1990s, the Red Book edition pays tribute to historic Hennessy landmarks in Cognac, with individual volumes referencing famous company sites such as La Faïencerie and La Comédie. Produced in extremely limited numbers, it has become one of the most elusive Hennessy collector's pieces, appearing only occasionally through specialist retailers and international auction houses.
Inside the remarkable presentation is a refined, mature Hennessy Cognac offering elegant aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, polished oak and warm spice, followed by a luxuriously smooth palate layered with honey, candied orange peel, cocoa, leather and delicate oak before finishing exceptionally long and complex.
Today, the Hennessy Library Tome Red Book is prized as much for its extraordinary presentation and historical significance as for the Cognac itself, making it a true centrepiece for serious collectors of rare spirits and one of the most distinctive luxury releases ever created by the House of Hennessy.
