Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Shiraz 750ml

Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Shiraz 2023 is produced by Jasper Hill from the estate's Georgia's Paddock vineyard in Heathcote, Australia. The original Shiraz block was planted in 1975 with additional vines planted in 1987. For the 2023 vintage, the fruit was fully destemmed, naturally fermented and kept on skins for five to six weeks before gentle pressing and 12 months maturation in French oak.

The appearance is deep crimson with the vibrant red hues characteristic of youthful Heathcote Shiraz.

The nose initially presents as restrained before opening with air to reveal brilliant red fruit, raspberry and spice, accompanied by the distinctive red-earth character of Georgia's Paddock.

The palate is generous and juicy, led by fresh raspberry and strawberry with earthy, mineral nuances and soft, integrated tannins. Excellent fruit intensity and impressive length provide immediate appeal while maintaining the structure for further cellaring.
