Lethbridge Nadeson Collis Inception 750ml

Nadeson Collis Inception is an artisanal traditional-method sparkling wine created by Lethbridge Wines founders Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis, using cool-climate fruit from Drumborg in Henty, Victoria, Australia. The current release is predominantly Chardonnay from the 2022 vintage, complemented by reserve wine from a perpetual blend established in 2006. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and fermented in barriques and foudre, matured in oak for 12 months, then tiraged and aged for 36 months on lees in bottle before disgorgement. The current release was disgorged in May 2026 with zero dosage.

The appearance is a bright pale straw with a fine, persistent bead.

The nose is precise and savoury, showing green apple, fresh citrus and oyster shell, with subtle autolytic and mineral complexity from extended lees ageing.

The palate is dry, energetic and vinous, with crisp white peach and citrus fruit supported by fine bubbles, refreshing acidity and a distinctive chalky, saline character. Barrel maturation adds texture and depth without overwhelming the freshness, while the zero-dosage finish emphasises purity and mineral definition.

A distinctive grower-style Australian sparkling, Nadeson Collis Inception combines the precision of cool-climate Chardonnay with extended lees ageing, reserve-wine complexity and a bone-dry, mineral-driven profile.
