Lethbridge Pinot Gris is produced by Lethbridge Wines in Victoria, Australia, in a complex, textural style inspired by the Pinot Gris wines of Alsace. Fruit is drawn from cool-climate vineyards, with individual parcels vinified in small batches. The winemaking incorporates indigenous yeast fermentation, varying periods of skin contact and maturation on lees in large-format French oak foudre, creating a Pinot Gris built around aroma, texture and freshness rather than simple primary fruit.
