McGlashan Wallington Estate Pinot Noir is a generous, expressive red wine from the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria’s Geelong wine region, Australia. Crafted from cool-climate Pinot Noir and matured in French oak for twelve months, it combines ripe fruit, floral aromatics and earthy spice with a firm, structured palate.
Mid-garnet in appearance.
The nose is lifted and fragrant, offering aromas of plum and raspberry alongside delicate violet notes. Earthy undertones and gentle spice add savoury complexity to the expressive fruit.
The palate is full and juicy, with ripe plum and dark cherry flavours supported by firm acidity and tannins. Spicy, charred oak becomes more prominent through the mid-palate, adding depth and a savoury counterpoint to the generous fruit. The finish carries lingering oak spice and dark cherry character.
A characterful Bellarine Pinot Noir combining ripe fruit, floral lift and earthy complexity in a structured style, ideally suited to roast duck, mushroom dishes and grilled lamb.
