Michters Barrel Strength Rye Whiskey 700ml

Michter’s US★1 Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is a limited-release American whiskey distilled and bottled in Kentucky. Matured in new, fire-charred American white oak barrels, it enters the barrel at a relatively low 103 proof to encourage a rich, rounded character. Each barrel is bottled individually at its own natural strength, preserving its distinctive flavour and intensity.

The nose is rich and inviting, offering butterscotch and cinnamon alongside a delicate hint of cherry. Sweet confectionery notes complement the warming spice.

The palate is generous and full-flavoured, with toasted vanilla and caramel providing a rounded foundation. Warming spice adds depth, while the concentrated barrel-strength character brings intensity and a substantial mouthfeel.

The finish turns drier, with lingering oak spice balancing the sweeter vanilla and caramel flavours.
