Mulline Single Vineyard Barrabool Syrah is produced by Mulline Vintners in the Barrabool Hills subregion of Geelong, Australia. Sourced from the Barwon Ridge Vineyard, planted in 1999 on limestone and deep black loam soils, the wine is crafted from predominantly Syrah with small additions of Marsanne and Viognier. Fermented with partial whole bunches and matured for eight months in French oak, it is an elegant, Northern Rhône-inspired expression of cool-climate Syrah.

The appearance is deep ruby with vibrant crimson hues.

The nose is highly perfumed with aromas of blackberry, red plum, blueberry and violet, layered with cracked white pepper, olive tapenade, subtle spice and fine cedar oak.

The palate is medium-bodied and finely structured, offering concentrated red and dark berry fruit, savoury spice, black olive and mineral complexity. Silky tannins, vibrant natural acidity and restrained French oak provide exceptional balance and finesse.

The finish is long, elegant and savoury, with lingering notes of spice, floral lift and mineral freshness.
