Saltram No.1 Shiraz is a premium Barossa Valley Shiraz produced by Saltram in South Australia. First created in 1859 and named in recognition of the winery's original No.1 Shiraz, this flagship wine is crafted from select Barossa fruit and matured in oak to deliver the richness, structure and longevity characteristic of the region.

The appearance is deep crimson with dense purple hues.

The nose is rich and complex, showing blackberry, black plum and dark cherry layered with dark chocolate, liquorice, black pepper, warm spice and integrated oak.

The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, delivering generous black and purple fruits with mocha, liquorice and savoury spice. Firm, finely textured tannins provide structure while balanced acidity and integrated oak contribute depth, polish and length.
