By Farr Sangreal Pinot Noir is produced by By Farr from the Sangreal vineyard in the Moorabool Valley at Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Sangreal is one of the estate's original Pinot Noir sites, planted in 1994 on an exposed north-facing slope over limestone-influenced soils. The wine is traditionally made with whole bunches, natural fermentation and maturation in French oak, creating a highly perfumed, savoury and finely structured expression of Pinot Noir.

The appearance is bright ruby red with translucent crimson hues.

The nose is fragrant and complex, showing red cherry, raspberry and strawberry alongside rose petals, earthy spice, dried herbs and subtle forest-floor notes.

The palate is elegant and finely layered, with pure red cherry and berry fruit complemented by savoury spice, earth and mineral character. Fine tannins and vibrant acidity provide tension and precision, while integrated oak contributes texture and depth without overwhelming the fruit.
