Scotchmans Hill Chardonnay is a cool-climate Australian Chardonnay from Scotchmans Hill, produced from fruit grown on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. The region’s maritime climate provides excellent conditions for Chardonnay, encouraging slow ripening and a balance of concentrated fruit, natural acidity, texture and refined complexity.

The nose is layered and expressive, with white peach, nectarine and citrus complemented by green apple and subtle melon. Delicate notes of toasted nuts, spice and restrained oak add complexity, while hints of citrus blossom and mineral character provide freshness and definition.

The palate is finely balanced and textural, combining stone fruit, apple and citrus with a creamy, gently rounded mid-palate. Fresh acidity provides structure and energy, while subtle oak, cashew-like nuttiness and savoury complexity add depth. Citrus zest and mineral notes carry through the palate, maintaining freshness alongside the wine’s richer Chardonnay character.
