Scotchmans Hill Cornelius Kincardine Chardonnay 2020 is a single-vineyard Chardonnay from Scotchmans Hill, produced from the Kincardine Vineyard on Victoria’s cool-climate Bellarine Peninsula, Australia. Part of the premium Cornelius collection, it is crafted as a focused expression of vineyard and variety, combining carefully handled fruit with barrel fermentation and maturation to build complexity while retaining the freshness characteristic of the maritime-influenced region.

The nose is refined and layered, opening with white peach, nectarine and lemon alongside hints of grapefruit and green apple. Subtle white florals, struck flint and mineral notes provide lift, while restrained oak contributes nuances of cashew, toast and gentle spice without dominating the fruit.

The palate is concentrated yet finely structured, with stone fruit, citrus and green apple carried by bright, precise acidity. A creamy, gently textural mid-palate is balanced by mineral tension and savoury complexity, with subtle nutty oak and delicate spice adding depth. The wine remains poised and energetic through a long, focused close, where citrus and mineral characters provide persistence.
