Scotchmans Hill Shiraz is a cool-climate Australian red from Scotchmans Hill, produced from Shiraz grown on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. The region’s maritime climate allows Shiraz to develop gradually, producing a more refined expression of the variety with concentrated fruit, aromatic spice, natural freshness and finely structured tannins.

Deep ruby to crimson in appearance with vibrant purple hues.

The nose is expressive and layered, showing blackberry, black cherry and plum alongside lifted violet and cracked black pepper. Savoury herbs, subtle spice and hints of liquorice add complexity, with restrained oak contributing gentle notes of cedar and warm spice.

The palate is medium to full-bodied and finely balanced, combining blackberry, plum and dark cherry with fresh acidity and supple, well-defined tannins. Pepper, dried herbs and subtle savoury notes provide classic cool-climate Shiraz character, while integrated oak adds structure and depth. The fruit remains vibrant through the palate, supported by spice and a persistent savoury edge.
