Talisker 10 Year Old is the flagship expression of the Talisker Distillery, located on the rugged shores of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Established in 1830, Talisker is renowned for producing maritime single malt Scotch whisky shaped by coastal conditions and traditional distillation methods. Matured for a minimum of ten years in American oak casks, this expression captures the distillery’s signature balance of peat smoke, sea spray and peppery spice, making it one of the most recognisable coastal whiskies in Scotland.

Bright gold in colour, the nose opens with fresh sea air, light peat smoke and citrus zest, layered with notes of black pepper, malt sweetness and a touch of honey. Subtle hints of brine, green apple and soft vanilla develop, reflecting both the maritime environment and oak maturation.

The palate is medium to full-bodied with a lively, warming texture. Flavours of sweet malt, dried fruit and citrus are quickly followed by Talisker’s hallmark peppery spice and gentle smoke. Maritime notes of salt and seaweed add depth, while the oak influence provides structure and balance. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, spice and a distinctive saline edge that defines the Talisker style.
