Bekkers McLaren Vale Syrah is produced by Bekkers Wine, the project of viticulturist Toby Bekkers and French-born winemaker Emmanuelle Bekkers, in McLaren Vale, Australia. Crafted from 100% Syrah selected from vineyard parcels across McLaren Vale, the wine is made with a focus on aromatic spice, elegance and fine, silky texture while retaining the generous fruit character of the region.

The appearance is deep purple to crimson with vibrant ruby hues.

The nose is expressive and perfumed, showing dark cherry, blackberry and boysenberry alongside black pepper, aromatic herbs, black olive and savoury spice, with subtle char and roasted-meat complexity.

The palate is full-bodied yet refined, delivering concentrated dark and red fruits with savoury spice, black olive and pepper. Fine tannins and a silky texture provide structure without excessive extraction, reflecting the producer's deliberate emphasis on elegance rather than overt richness.
