Tyrrell’s Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz is a full-bodied Australian red wine sourced from the Tyrrell family’s estate vineyards in Heathcote, Victoria. Grown on ancient Cambrian soils and matured in French oak, it combines generous dark fruit with the region’s distinctive white pepper character, balancing richness with freshness and elegance.

Deep ruby red in appearance.

The nose is expressive and concentrated, led by black plum and ripe mulberry alongside white pepper. Spicy French oak adds depth and complements the generous fruit.

The palate is full-bodied and richly flavoured, with intense black plum and mulberry supported by supple tannins. Dark chocolate and white pepper contribute complexity, while French oak provides structure without overwhelming the fruit. The wine retains brightness through the mid-palate, leading to a fresh, lingering finish of dark fruit and gentle spice.

A generous yet balanced Heathcote Shiraz combining ripe fruit, peppery spice and supple texture, ideally suited to grilled beef, roast lamb and hearty braised dishes.
